Distinguishing Etsy Orders from Shopify

How do I distinguish the orders from Etsy and Shopify when importing Etsy orders to my Shopify store?

When importing orders from Etsy into the Shopify store, the system sends those orders as regular orders made on Shopify. In some cases, it may be unclear whether the order was from Shopify itself or synced from Etsy.

However, there is no need to worry; we have you covered. Our system has specific settings that will add descriptive information to the order before sending it to Shopify.

Go to the Settings page of our app:

Navigate to the Order section: Scroll down a bit, and you will find the Order Sync Setting:

Please enable the Set Shopify order ID to Etsy order ID configuration.

This will add the ETSY_COM: prefix to your Etsy order ID by default. You can edit the prefix according to your requirements.

Below Set Shopify Order ID to Etsy Order ID option, we offer the Show Etsy Order ID on Shopify Order Note option. This feature helps to add the Etsy Order ID within the order note section, facilitating clear distinction between Etsy and Shopify orders.
