⚙️ Configuration Page Overview

In this guide, you will learn how to set up and manage the Configuration Page in your Wix–Square integration app. This section helps you connect locations, define sync preferences, and control product and inventory behaviors between platforms.


  1. 🗺️ Location Configuration

Your inventory sync relies on connected locations between Wix and Square. So this is the first and most important setup.

⚠️ Important: Inventory sync happens only for connected locations. Unlinked locations won’t update inventory.

How to Connect Locations

  • During onboarding, you will connect your primary Wix and Square locations.
  • You can also manage them later from this page.
  • Once connected, inventory will sync only between the connected Wix and Square locations.

💡 Tip: If you have multiple locations, connect only those you want to sync. Others won’t be included unless you manually link them here.


  1. 🧩Product Configuration

This section lets you define which platform acts as the primary source for product data (title, description, price, images, etc.).

Selecting Your Primary Source

  • If you selected Wix during onboarding, Updates in Wix (title, description, price, image) will sync automatically to Square.
  • If you selected Square as your source, Updates in Square will sync automatically to Wix.

💡 Note: Each product field sync (title, description, price, images) can be toggled ON/OFF based on your preference.

Product Deletion Sync

  1. If a product in Wix is deleted, and it’s linked to a product in Square, the Square product will also be deleted automatically.
  2. If you disable this option, deleting a product in Wix will not remove it from Square even if it’s linked.

⚠️ Important: This setting works only from Wix → Square (not the other way around).


🔁 Inventory Sync for Shared SKUs

  • Some merchants use the same SKU across multiple products, which can cause conflicts during inventory sync. This setting gives you control over how shared SKUs behave.
  • When Enabled:  If the same SKU (e.g., “ABC”) exists in multiple Square products, and it’s updated in Wix. The inventory update will apply to all products sharing that SKU in Square.
  • When Disabled:  If shared SKUs exist, updates in Wix will not sync across multiple Square products with the same SKU.

💡 Best Practice: Enable this only if you intentionally manage shared SKUs. Otherwise, leave it disabled to prevent unwanted syncs.
